When you Retrain your Brain for Success, you can stop standing on the edge of your potential and step fully into living an extraordinary life of success (like so many others have learned to do)!

One huge factor to creating a life that exhibits success in every area is motivation.

So, how to we get ourselves motivated when we just aren’t feeling, well, motivated?

In the brain we have neurotransmitters that send signals between one neuron and the next. Neurotransmitters are chemicals made by nerve cells called neurons.

They’re used to communicate messages across different parts of the brain and between the brain and the rest of the body.

Dopamine is involved mainly in controlling movement; it is a neurotransmitter that helps send signals in the brain that relate to motivation.

If you want to have more motivation to manifest your life deliberately, you can prompt your mind to create more dopamine in purposeful ways. Here’s are few ways to boost your dopamine levels:

  1. Eat foods rich in tyrosine. In order to make dopamine, your body needs tyrosine which can be found in almonds, bananas, yogurt, apple cider vinegar, avocados, eggs, beans, fish, and chicken.
  2. Exercise regularly (even if you aren’t initially motivated to do so). Physical exercise is one of the best things you can do for your brain. It increases the production of new brain cells, slows down brain cell aging and it can increase your levels of dopamine.
  3. Learn to meditate. The overall health benefits of meditation have been demonstrated through hundreds of research studies. Many of those have shown that meditation increases dopamine leading to improved focus and concentration.
  4. Get a massage. One way to keep dopamine levels high is to avoid stress, which can seem like a daunting task sometimes. Research has shown that massage therapy increases dopamine levels by nearly 30% while decreasing cortisol (stress hormone) levels.
  5. Sleep. When we get proper rest, our brains can increase dopamine naturally. This includes setting aside time before bed away from the computer or television. Lack of sleep has been shown to reduce concentrations of neurotransmitters, including dopamine, and their receptors.
  6. Listen to music. You probably already know that listening to music can increase pleasurable feelings, improve your mood and boost your energy. Much of this is achieved due to an increase in dopamine levels.
  7. Record small accomplishments. Dopamine plays a role in the brain’s reward system, helping to reinforce certain behaviors that result in reward. When you write down your accomplishments, even small ones, you can feel the greater effects of dopamine.

You know that success is already something that exists. And because it exists, it’s totally possible for it to be a part of your reality!

In fact, if you don’t see success in certain areas, you can celebrate the fact that it’s just waiting for you to be a good match and host for it, AND you are perfectly capable of doing that!
