Your Hidden Beliefs Are Running Your Life!
The way you train your mind is the way you create and experience reality!
Research in quantum mechanics has proven that the act of observing reality creates it. And psychologists have known and demonstrated this for years.
Think of the way in which an inkblot image has many possible interpretations. Each observer will personally experience what their mind most relates to when viewing one of these images, and this is a direct example of how we each perceive and experience individual reality.
(This happens because of the programs that are developed within the subconscious mind over a lifetime.)
It's your hidden belief systems that create these interpretations and perceptions.
But, many of the thoughts and beliefs we have come from other people.
We’re taught that the world works a certain way when we’re young and then these things “stick” in the brain.
Because of this, our beliefs about the world, relationships, money, health and a number of other things are often outdated and require examination to make any lasting changes.
When we form specific beliefs about anything, the brain believes them to be true (after all, they are beliefs), and then it will respond according to those truths and even ignore any information that contradicts the fact that they may not be valid.
The brain prefers to stay within the boundaries of routines, even if that means keeping you stuck in outdated scenarios that don’t fit what you want.
This means it will keep you blind to things that may assist you in achieving specific goals in your life if you aren’t in charge of how it’s running and the types of beliefs it’s holding onto!
A simple exercise to shift your reality:
Make a list of the beliefs you have about living a life that lines up with all of the things you want. You can write down beliefs you have about money, success, love, or even happiness in general. Be honest with yourself about this; you're the only one who has to see it!
(It might help to pick the thing you would like to manifest most in your life and write down beliefs that you have about creating that as your reality.)
Next, take a look at that list and just pretend that some of the beliefs that say you “can’t” have what you want are no longer true for you.
Then, choose your top 3 beliefs that aren’t working for you and circle them.
Now, write down an opposite belief next to each. A new belief that might contradict what that old belief says.
You don’t have to believe it to be true in this moment, but it’s a great exercise to write it down.
Why?
Because the small act of questioning your old beliefs opens your mind to a new awareness and allows the brain to begin coming up with new solutions to things that may have once blocked you.
To take it step further, ask yourself,
“What would it look like if this new belief were true?”
This sends the brain in search for that answer, opening its creative centers in an even more impactful way!
