WHAT TO DO

Dear Dr Conner
Thank you for your email dated 11.09 21. Since you are sincerely trying to help me achieve my goals, which I much appreciate it. Let me give you an overview of my past and present situations and ask you to help me more precisely. I am 75. I am a former judge of the Iranian Courts who has escaped from a wholly corrupt system. I have 2 sons and 1 daughter. I am experiencing a very bad financial situation. I have set a financial goal for myself but at this age I cannot imagine how I can achieve it. I know that I don't need to know it in advance but I have been trying to reach this goal since 15 years ago. I have already tried personal development programs from Dr Joe Vitale, Victoria Gallagher, Bill Harrison, Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield and a lot more experts but I Couldn't see any changes in my mind and life. I am very serious in my jobs but I see that my mind does doesn't let any changes to take place. I know for sure that I had a very hard and awful financial situation in my childhood but I know that a lot of successful people have had the same situation as I experience but they freed themselves and they are living the life they want. So, it is a big question for me why my 15 years relaxation, imagination and affirmations could not help me? How should I carry out your programs to get even a small change in my mind and life. The way I should do these programs is very important.
Could you please comment on my background and present situation and give me instructions to carry out exactly what is needed?
Thank you for your time and efforts
Kind regards
Mohammadreza

  • Heey Mohammadreza Mohammadzadeh nice to meet you!!

I am wondering do you have any definate chief aim? like any good goal you are working on while using these techniques? or are you just doin the techniques without a clear goal you are working on ?
  • Hi Mohammadreza,

Thank you for sharing your background and your sincerity in the achievement of your goals. I can feel the positive energy in the words you express regarding them.

Iwan brings up a great point. In the "Consciously Changing the Course of Events" section of the program, I discuss creating your clearly defined goal. You do not need to know 'how' the goals will come about, only 'what' the goal is so that you can install it with the technique given in this portion of the course. This particular process will assist you in creating your end point in all of its fulfillment.

Also, when discussing your past, or what I like to refer to as your 'story', you are recreating that as your present moment. The history is there, yes. And I am grateful that you have shared that here. However, I believe that if you began to tell yourself a new story about your life and how it unfolds you will start to make massive strides towards the achievement of your goals. It may feel awkward at first, by try to revise your 'old' story. Imagine telling your story in such a way that it indicates that everything has lined up perfectly for you to create the life you choose to live. Because we only experience 'now', as opposed to any other moment in time, now has the opportunity to revise the path we are on. NOW is where all of your power is; it is where your energy resides.

Sometimes when I mention this to people they say that it feels like they are telling a lie to themselves. And this can also ring true where affirmations are concerned. This is why the visualization technique in the process I have mentioned is so powerful. And I encourage you to play pretend just a bit, as if you were a child letting your mind roam free. If I asked you what would need to change in your past in order to make your goal seem more achievable, what would you tell me? What could you imagine as a new story, beginning at the age of 15, that leads you directly to the achievement of your goal? Could you have been born into royalty? Or, maybe you experienced mentors that guided you perfectly. And can you sit in a wonderful, imaginative play time in your mind to watch that unfold until you begin to believe it?

I recommend trying this for a few days to see the shift that you will begin to experience. (30+ days would be ideal.) Again, it may seem awkward. But with practice I think you will find yourself tapping into something amazingly wonderful. I will eagerly await hearing about that. :)
