The Four Stages of Learning - Creating New Feedback Loops & New Programs

Jessica:

I am having a difficult time understanding this section of your training.  The information makes sense but I am not sure what I am suppose to do with the worksheet.  In the first column of the worksheet..can you elaborate on what information I am suppose to be recalling and how I am suppose to work with it... (same question for the remaining 5 columns)...this worksheet is confusing in terms of using and this seem like a very important section of the training that I need to understand much better.

Any additional details on this section are welcomed...Thanks James

  • Not Jessica, but I'm wondering if you are talking about the section called "Remapping Your Behavior?" And the worksheet called "Daily Success Chart?"
  • Its under remapping your behavior section...but it is the four stages of learning link under this section
  • Hi James!

Did you have a chance to read the article just above the chart that explains this?

In the first column, you are making a declaration of which information you will intentionally/consciously use for the day ahead. This will prime your mind for the task. The second column takes this task a bit further through making a conscious decision to "use" the information you've chosen. The remaining 4 columns also align with the 6 steps given just above the chart.

The exercise is to become deliberate about what you are thinking and doing towards your goals, analyzing what is working for you (or not working), creating a habit of this through repetition and then looking for the ways in which you receive because of the process (reward).

You are correct in that it is a very important part of the course! This is how we learn to create new habits in any area of our lives. It's simply that we don't always know "how" we did it. The exercise is a "conscious" outline of how do this.

    Does this answer your question?

    -Jessica
  • Yes, I did read the article above the chart and this is my second time through the course and I'm still not clear on what this worksheet was asking me to do.  Your response answers my question to some degree.  However, I still don't understand the first column...what information am I suppose to be intentionally using.  Can you give an example of information for the first few columns?

I appreciate you taking the time to assist me with this.

    James
  • Hi James,

    Sure!

Let's use the example of overall happiness.

In the first column, you might write, "I've learned that having happiness in my life is something I can achieve. In fact, it's something that anyone can achieve when they dedicate themselves to creating it." This is recalling something you've learned, possibly through the challenging false beliefs worksheet, another process in the course or something you've learned otherwise.

In the second column, you might write, "Today I will look for more things to be happy about. If I search for happy events and people, I know I will find them." This is your understanding and conscious decision/declaration to reinforce a new habit.

In the third column, you might write, "Today I actively looked for more scenarios and individuals who brought me joy." This is applying through action. What did you consciously "do" throughout your day to reinforce this habit?

Does this make more sense? Through this process, you are consciously creating a new habit in the same way you have created all of your other habits. It just puts you in control of the process.

Just above the chart on that worksheet are 6 bullet points that give you a little more information on how to proceed through the columns. However, if that doesn't help, I'm happy to assist further!  :)

    -Jessica

  • Ok,  this is clearer to me now...Let me work with what I now understand and get back to you if I have further questions.

Thanks for this more detail information.....James
  • You bet! Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
  • I really respect your commitment to your personal growth James!

Gotta commend James. I was thinking the exact same thing as I was going through that section of the course and was pleased to find the example listed above to help navigate how to use the worksheet.
  • The main thing with all the exercises is to not get balled up with tension. Remember, positive manifesting requires a releasing of resistance. That is to say, a releasing of tension. Life really is suppose to be fun. I want us all to have fun in this life changing process!♥️
